A professional website is the result of a good faith collaboration between the Client, the Designers and NCcoupons.net. We understand every business is unique and therefore every Web site should have a level of design flexibility. The purpose of this section is to ensure that all parties understand the features and constraints of the Standard Web Package offer.
The Standard Web Package Offer:
1. The Standard Web Package consists of these three (3) Web pages.
HOME PAGE: Page customized to Client's business
DIRECTIONS PAGE: Interactive map (powered by Google) to the Client's business.
FORM PAGE: (Contact Us) A non-customized consumer response form.
2. Each Web page will be branded with a banner containing the Client's pertinent business
information and logo if available.
3. NCcoupons.net has available a collection of Web Site Designs, referred to as templates.
4. The Client may choose the template that best suits his/her business and personal
preference.
5. The Client must supply the Regional Designer with descriptive text of his/her business
to use on the Home page. The Client may supply text, pictures, logos and graphics
to use on the Home page and page banners. Client is responsible for copyright
compliance.
6. The Client may request minor or cosmetic changes to the Home page to produce a site
more reflective of the Client's business.
7. Changes that require page reformatting, restyling, the addition or alteration of code,
inclusion of Flash or other external programs, or the creation of custom graphics,
graphic design or a logo is not included in the Standard Web Package.
8. The regional designer agrees to offer the Client options and alternatives that fall within
the Standard Web Package as reasonable substitutes to extensive modifications.
9. The client may elect to contract the Regional Design Company to make changes that
are not included in the Standard Web Package at an extra charge to be determined by
and paid to the Regional Design Company. These charges are always in addition to
the price of the Standard Web Package.
10. In the event the Client and Regional Design Representative are unable to agree if a
proposed change is within the scope of the Standard Web Package, NCcoupons.net
management will make the final and irrevocable decision.
11. The Client may choose a domain name for the Web site. Domain names are unique
and subject to availability. Provided the name is not vulgar, offensive or sexually explicit,
NCcoupons.net will purchase, configure, administrate and renew the Client's selected
domain for as long as NCcoupons.net hosts the Web site.
12. The Client's completed web site will be published to the NCcoupons.net server at no
charge. The Client will be issued a userid and password to access the server. Software
that allows the Client to manage and edit the Web site will be installed on the server.
The Client is free to alter pages on the site and/or add pages to the site - up to a
maximum of 100 pages. (Member logo & coupon offer must remain)
Web site hosting is $25 / month paid quarterly. There are no additional space, bandwidth or service charges of any kind.
Site Hosting (due 1st day of every 3rd month)................. $75.00
- There is no charge to discontinue the Web hosting service.
- There is no charge to re-activate Web hosting that was discontinued.
- You will not pay for days your web site is down (should it ever happen)
Payment of the quarterly hosting fee is an agreement between you, the Web site owner, and NCcoupons.net, the hosting service. For payment received, NCcoupons.net will provide Web hosting service for a 3-month period. The Web site owner may cancel service at any time. The service will be discontinued effective the last day of the quarter for which payment was received. The Web site owner may request service be discontinued prior to that date; however, the owner is not entitled to a refund for the un-used portion of the quarterly payment. The unused balance, however, will be applied to the site owner's account when the Web site is re-activated.
NCcoupons.net is responsible for maintaining your web site service. Physical security, 24x7 monitoring and network firewalls assure your site is safe and your data protected.
Our server is specifically configured to serve NCcoupons.net websites. It is NOT well suited for eCommerce sites. If your Web business requires eCommerce now, or evolves to that point in the future, we will gladly help you to get the hosting service and Web site that meets your needs. Of course you may continue to be an NCcoupons.net member.
The Website: You own your website. As such, you are responsible for its content. We do have restrictions on what you are allowed to put on your site, but these restrictions mainly concern vulgar, lewd or sexually explicit content. Keep in mind; our coupon service is family oriented and we expect our members to respect that.
The Domain: We purchase the domain name on your behalf. While you are a member, we keep your domain renewed and act as the domain administrator. You may, after 90 days, have the domain name transferred directly to you or your business for a nominal fee of $25, which offsets our transfer expenses. At that time, you must assume domain management, renewal charges and other fees associated with the domain.
Your Email: Your email addresses are associated with both your Domain Name and with the server where your site resides. As a member, you manage and assign email addresses, up to ten (10), to you and your employees. You are not allowed to generate Spam mail from any email account on our server. In fact, if you have a newsletter or other regular publication distributed by email, we very strongly urge you to give recipients a way to "opt out" of receiving future mail. If you discontinue service with us and prefer to keep your email address, you need to establish an account with another host and transfer your Domain Name.
Payment is delinquent if not received on or before the due date.
When an account becomes 10 days delinquent, a late fee of $10 or 5% of the unpaid balance (whichever is more) is added. Late fees will continue to accrue every 30 days until the account is current.
If the account becomes 30 days in arrears, the web site may be turned off and/or email service discontinued.
NCcoupons.net will not transfer a Domain name to a site owner whose hosting has been deactivated for lack of payment until the account is paid current.
We initially register your Web site with the top 200 search engine, however, we rely on your judgment to select the search categories that will work best for your business. For example, if your business is musical instruments but most of your customers are in the local high school band, then you may want top placement when people search for "band instruments."
You may utilize the search engine submission tool provided free with your Web hosting as often as the search engines allow, which is about every 45 days. They use several criteria to rank your site. We will work with you to achieve the best placement possible, however, we have absolutely no way to guarantee where search engines rank your site. You may independently contract with one or more search engines to recieve premium placement on a "Pay-Per-Click" basis. Charges associated with premium placement services are, of course, your responsibility.
Placing the NCcoupons.net member logo on your site helps all of our members. Customers who visit member sites are reminded to visit NCcoupons when they need other goods or services. This way, members support each other. We have member clipart available. We hope you will include the NCcoupons member logo on your print and media advertising.
